Brittany competed in the Miss California USA 2011 pageant as Miss Larchmont Village, using her platform to advocate for marriage equality during a pivotal moment in California history. She partnered with local businesses, secured sponsorships from brands including Make Up Nation, Kara Wily Pilates, and Wynn Nails. She was active in community engagement initiatives such as fundraisers, bake sales, and public appearances.

Brittany built a social media presence around her campaign, partnering with other local creatives to produce videos to connect with supporters. She attended numerous events representing her community and platform, including the 2010 Equality Awards. This experience blended advocacy, marketing, and public engagement, giving her firsthand experience leading high-profile projects and campaigns.
